Tools: Unreal Engine 5, C++, Blueprint

Tech Art:

  • Created the cartoon cel shade material for characters and environments. The material can use texture or color.
  • Created the VFXs for the player, environment, and boss fight.
  • Created the character animation blueprint, blendspaces, and sockets.
  • Adjusted overal lighting and post processing

Programming:

  • Created and initiated the game project source control.
  • Created the base/parent class of the character and collision actors.
  • Implemented health, platform, gate, projectile, and boss mechanics.

Game Design:

  • Created the game design and level design.
  • Managed and provided the team with a list of features/tasks.
  • Checked and provided feedback on implemented features.
